Begun in 1959 as a New Church Development of Donegal Presbytery, our congregation has shared times of sorrow and joy, of peace and difficulty.  In all these shared experiences there has been the common factor of our concern for the people of York and the surrounding neighborhoods and communities and for one another.  The same commitments that were evident in the building of Eastminster Church are visible today as the congregation faces new challenges and opportunities to share God’s love and fellowship as a congregation of people who reach out to those in the community and world. As a congregation Eastminster is committed to demonstrating to all, the values they hold as people who follow Jesus of Nazareth as the Christ.
